Alexandra Hills State High School has a designated area called “The Hub” for students who require Educational or Emotional support.  Students can access and speak with the Guidance Officer, Chaplains, School Nurse, Youth Support Officer and Behaviour Advisory Teacher to support their individual needs.  To meet with HUB staff, students need to either book in an appointment with the individual Staff member or be referred.  Parents/Guardians are invited to contact HUB staff for support and guidance when necessary.

The Student Support Centre is another service that Alexandra Hills State High School offers to students.  The Student Support Centre aims to help and support students with recognised disabilities or learning support needs.  This section you will find further information on each of the services provided and contact information for each service provided.

Hub appointments

Students can access Hub staff by visiting the Hub before and after school or during breaks. During this time students can also make appointments scheduled during class time by filling out an appointment slip. This slip needs to be signed by the teacher from the designated period to be missed prior to the appointment. This enables staff to know the whereabouts of students during class time.
