At the Centre of Excellence in Automation and Robotics we believe in inspiring future innovators and leaders in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). We deliver dynamic and innovative programs that promote creative applications of technology to solve real-world problems. Our students benefit from cutting-edge resources and unique learning opportunities made possible through special Industry and University partnerships. 

Student experiences (Year 7 – 12):

  • Robotics and Electronics – designing and building specialised robots, robotic arms and vehicles, aerial and aquatic drones

  • Rapid prototyping using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) with 3D printing and laser technologies

  • Learning to code video games, websites and apps

  • Creating Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) solutions

  • Senior ATAR subjects – Digital Solutions, Design, Engineering

  • Drone (UAV) Licence course - Certificate III Remote Pilot Licence, followed by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Remote Pilot Licence and Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (via RTO 32292)

  • IT Technicians course - Certificate II or III  Information, Digital Media and Technology (via RTO 40548)
