Throughout the years Alexandra Hills State High School participated in cross-cultural exchanges with schools from overseas. Schools from all over the globe have been involved in study tours of up to two weeks in duration.
Visiting students are matched with an Aussie buddy who shows them around the school, participates in various cultural activities and shows them what it is like to be a High School student in South East Queensland. In the past, visitors have participated in cultural activities such as hip hop dancing, making ANZAC biscuits, boomerang painting and playing various Australian sports. We also provide a dedicated ESL Teacher so that students can be actively working on improving their English in a friendly and encouraging environment.
If you are interested in booking a study tour with us or would like to know how we can design a study tour specific to your needs, please contact EQI.
