The Chaplaincy service provides emotional, social, spiritual and physical support. This is available to everyone in the school community regardless of their religious beliefs.

A Chaplain is a safe person for young people to connect with at school – providing a listening ear, caring presence and a message of hope. Students may request an individual confidential appointment for support in personal matters (eg. difficult relationships with family members, friendship concerns, poor self-esteem, grief and loss, family breakdown and/or spiritual/faith related issues), or be referred to the Chaplain by parents or teachers/administrative staff. The Chaplain is able to provide students and families with referrals to other professional supports in the school and community, and can also provide students with information regarding local Youth Groups and upcoming Youth Camps.

Sage Rizk is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in The Hub.

Email: srizk5@eq.edu.au
