Connecting your BYOD

BYOD laptops and iPads are best connected at home, without needing to visit the IT Help Desk. Students should follow the instructions in the videos or guides at the side of this page. Once enrolled, the devices will automatically connect to the school network. Students will need to know their email address (username@eq.edu.au) and password, and should allow 15 minutes to complete this process. If they do not know their password their teachers can help reset it.

Microsoft Intune is used as the school's BYOD management platform. Microsoft Intune does not monitor the student's device activity and will never record any of the following:  Calling and web browsing history*, Email and text messages*, Contacts, Calendar, Passwords, Pictures - including what's in the photos app or camera roll, Files.

(*Internet and email activity still go through Education Queenalnd's network security filtering service).
