School Council
The School Council is a body comprised of school and community representatives which meets quarterly with the aim of providing feedback and input into a wide range of school activities. The Council discusses ‘big picture’ matters to do with the development of the school. One of its main aims is to consider ways to improve the pathways for our students.
The Year 7 trial and our application to be an Independent Public School are ongoing developments keenly discussed by members of the council.
The work of the Council complements that of the Parents and Citizens Association and includes a representative from the P & C, usually the president. Student and staff also have a voice on the Council through their elected representatives.
